A tree plantation event was held under awareness for Green Environment Campaign at Metro Staff Quarter (Radio Colony), Kingsway Camp, Delhi. About 50 numbers of different varieties of plants including Ashoka, Gulmohar, & others were planted at the colony complex.
DDG(E), Kingsway and several other colony residents were actively participated in the event. The event was successful and it was planned to plant 1000 more such plants in the colony.
NGO, SMK social welfare society, Rohini had supported this initiatives & supplied the plants. They promised to provide 500 more such plants for further plantation at the colony complex. Ceremonial brief pooja & sweets distribution were also held during the plantation.
